Sanjay Dutt out of Welcome To The Jungle: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has reportedly exited the upcoming film ‘Welcome To The Jungle,’ starring Akshay Kumar, due to health issues. According to Pinkvilla, Dutt left the project after filming for only one day in Madh Island, Mumbai.

‘Welcome To The Jungle’ is the third installment in the popular ‘Welcome’ franchise. Contrary to earlier reports suggesting that Dutt had filmed for 15 days, Pinkvilla quoted its source that it was just a single day of shooting. The source further told Pinkvilla that Dutt’s character involved significant action sequences, leading him to withdraw from the film to prioritise his health. 

About Welcome To The Jungle

The film, announced in 2023, boasts a stellar ensemble cast. The announcement video featured the cast performing a cappella, hinting at the comedic tone of the movie. Alongside Akshay Kumar, the film stars Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, and Mika Singh. 

Set to release in December 2024, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ is directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Firoz A. Nadiadwala. 

In December 2023, Akshay Kumar had shared an Instagram post welcoming Sanjay Dutt to the film. The post included a video from the set where Kumar was seen riding a horse while Dutt followed on a motorcycle. The caption read, “What a lovely coincidence that we celebrate 16 years of Welcome today, while I am shooting for the franchise’s third part Welcome To The Jungle. And it’s wonderful to welcome Sanju Baba to this one. What do you think?” 

With Sanjay Dutt’s exit, fans are curious to see who will replace him and how the dynamic of ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ will evolve.
