Madgaon Express Day 3 Box Office Collection: Kunal Kemmu’s Directorial Debut Earns Over Rs 7 Crore


New Delhi: Madgaon Express, featuring Divyenndu Sharma, Pratik Gandhi, and Avinash Tiwary, continues to enjoy a successful run at the domestic box office. According to data from Sacnilk.com, the comedy-drama has amassed over ₹7 crore in India since its theatrical release on March 22.

The film’s earnings reflect a promising trajectory, with ₹1.5 crore on its opening day, followed by ₹2.75 crore on day two. Early estimates suggest that Madgaon Express raked in ₹2.85 crore nett on its third day, bringing its total collection to ₹7.10 crore in India. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, Madgaon Express marks the directorial debut of Kunal Kemmu.

The storyline revolves around three young men who share a dream of vacationing in Goa. However, their dream takes an unexpected turn when they embark on a train journey via Madgaon Express as adults. Alongside Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi, and Avinash Tiwary, the film features Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam.

Taking to Instagram, Kunal Kemmu shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of Madgaon Express, expressing gratitude to his cast and crew. Reflecting on the journey from the first day of shooting to the final wrap-up, he emphasized the significance of friendship portrayed in the film and the personal growth it facilitated. He captioned it as, “From day 1 of shoot to the day I said the last pack up on the sets of Madgoan Express. Each day has been so special in so many ways. And I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team of actors and technicians. To the many colours of friendship that the film showcases and the many colours of my own personality that I got to explore through this film.
