‘Bastar: The Naxal Story Trailer’: Adah Sharma Starrer Promises To Be A Gripping Tale On Real-Life Story

New Delhi: The announcement of ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Sudipto Sen, and Adah Sharma has stirred immense excitement among the masses. With the release of two teasers and the unveiling of attention-grabbing posters, anticipation for the film has been steadily mounting. The makers of the film released the trailer today, giving an insight into the gripping storyline.

Directed by Sudipto Sen and featuring Adah Sharma in a pivotal role, the trailer of ‘Bastar: The Naxal Story’ has delivered on all fronts, promising to captivate audiences on a grand scale. Following the resounding success of ‘The Kerala Story,’ the team returns with another daring and impactful narrative, and the trailer does justice to these heightened expectations.

The trailer is a riveting montage of spine-chilling moments, depicting the brutal realities of Naxalite violence, including harrowing scenes of CRPF Jawans falling victim to the insurgency. It delves into the controversial chapter of JNU students allegedly celebrating the deaths of Jawans, and unveils shocking sequences of human atrocities, such as individuals being brutally mutilated and innocent children falling victim to senseless violence. The portrayal of political figures being targeted and the hanging of innocent civilians further adds to the trailer’s gripping intensity.

One standout aspect of the trailer is the portrayal of IPS Neerja Madhvan, portrayed with precision and sincerity by actress Adah Sharma. Filmmaker Sudipto Sen shared insights into her preparation, stating, “Adah went to Bastar, as she wanted to take blessings from Danteswari Mata, which is the most reckoning temple in Bastar. People of Bastar believe that all auspicious work needs the blessings of Danteswari Mata.”

He added, “Adah wanted to learn the basic nuances of jungle warfare and arms handling and also wanted to meet women in the CRPF and Chhattisgarh police who are actually fighting battles on the ground.”
